EVCO's Beginnings

It was the late 1950's and for Oral Evans, an ambitious Entrepreneur living in the Salt Lake valley, success depended largely on the proper maintenance of his distribution center - the family station wagon. Oral made his living distributing surplus military hose along the Wasatch front. Although roomy, the station wagon could not keep up with demand nor customer assembly needs, so he opened a hose warehouse. Evan's Company, or EVCO, was officially in business.

EVCO's Growth through the 80's and 90's

Under new ownership in the 80's & 90's, EVCO reformed its purchasing and product management strategies to reflect only the highest quality products and industry standards. Global industry leading suppliers like Gates, Goodyear, Dixon, and Band-it became the norm.

EVCO Today

Today EVCO House of Hose is one of the largest hose and fitting distributor retailers in the western United States. EVCO has 7 locations from Southern Utah to Southeastern Idaho. EVCO's first class distribution center is unique to the industry and makes EVCO's inventory the largest and most comprehensive in the region.
